In November 2023, thousands pledged their support as ADNOC and Aurora50 became Officially Amazing™ and broke a world record.

World record holders

We needed 5,000 people to pledge to become record-holders for the Guinness World Records™ attempt for ‘the most pledges received for a gender equality in the workplace campaign in 24 hours’.
People from all over the world became catalysts for change.
More than 7,000 people, both at the Summit and online, signed the pledge (audited by accounting firm EY) between 12:00 GST on 9 November and 12:00 GST 10 November 2023.
A majority of the pledges came from UAE-based workforces, underlining the UAE’s ongoing commitment to gender equality.
Diana Wilde, co-founder of Aurora50, says: “This remarkable initiative underscores our commitment to promoting diversity, inclusivity and equal opportunities for all. Now, we hope our successful record attempt will convert into real action and change over the coming year until the next summit.”
Thank you for choosing to #bethechange and shape history.
